Trinity Prep hasn't had much luck against Cornerstone Charter Academy recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Saints will take on the Ducks at 7:00 p.m. Trinity Prep is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.

Trinity Prep got a massive performance out of Olivia Agnew, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2. That's the most runs Agnew has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Dakota Brown, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3.
Trinity Prep was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .536. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Cornerstone Charter Academy came tearing into Tuesday's game with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Bears by a score of 5-2.
The team relied heavily on Olivia Hancock, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double.
Cornerstone Charter Academy pushed their record up to 13-4 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Trinity Prep, their record is now 8-3.
Trinity Prep's speedy runners might be the difference in Friday's match. The Saints have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 5.5 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Cornerstone Charter Academy, though, as they've been averaging only 1.2 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Trinity Prep continue to outrun the ball?
Trinity Prep came up short against Cornerstone Charter Academy when the teams last played back in April of 2024, falling 3-0. Can the Saints avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
