It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the First Baptist Crusaders ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They walked away with a 77-68 win over Woodcrest Baptist Academy. The win was nothing new for First Baptist as they're now sitting on three straight.
Levi Borner was his usual excellent self, scoring 35 points along with nine rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jared Dudek, who scored five points along with nine rebounds and three blocks.
First Baptist has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Woodcrest Baptist Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
First Baptist does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Woodcrest Baptist Academy also has no future games currently scheduled.
