Bacon Academy can now show off three landslide victories after their most recent  match  on Friday. They blew past the Ledyard Colonels 11-5. That's more bragging rights for Bacon Academy, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
  Ethan Creutz was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out seven batters over  seven innings while giving up  five earned runs off   seven  hits. Creutz was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring three  runs while going 2-for-4.
 In other batting news,  Mason Pingree was  incredible,  scoring two  runs while going 3-for-5.  Chris Lusignan was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-5.
 Bacon Academy has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record  this season. As for Ledyard, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bacon Academy will take on Waterford at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Ledyard, they will stay at home for another  game and welcome Stonington at 3:45  p.m.  on Tuesday.
