Edinburg was the 66-60 winner over Harvest Christian when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Edinburg Bobcats fell to Harvest Christian 38-34. The Bobcats' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Edinburg lost on Friday despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Yuri Perez, who posted 16 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Arianee Salazar, who earned six points and three steals.

Even though they lost, Edinburg smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in five consecutive matches.

Edinburg's loss dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Harvest Christian, their record is now 17-3.

Edinburg is taking a road trip to take on San Benito at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Harvest Christian, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 75-48 victory against La Feria on the 16th.
