Marvin Moore Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Callaway was led to victory by Marvin Moore, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Moore rushed for 266 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 12.1 yards per carry. Thanks to that strong showing, he's now averaging 2.1 rushing touchdowns per game. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.
Columbus had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Moore it was a similar story. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Moore saw the Falcons), he rushed for 150 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.4 yards per carry, and also picked up 47 receiving yards.

Sadly, DeCorey Knight, Jr posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Vicksburg over Neshoba Central on Friday. Knight, Jr's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 107 rushing yards.
Vicksburg is on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6. Knight, Jr will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on Warren Central on Friday.
