The North Cobb Christian Eagles can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 92-60 victory over Washington. Given North Cobb Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 136th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 410th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Gabe Bolden was his usual excellent self, going 9 for 15 from beyond the arc en route to 46 points and 5 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Wyatt Thomason was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with five rebounds.
The win makes it two in a row for North Cobb Christian and bumps their season record up to 16-6. As for Washington, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Drew Charter the next time they take the court. Washington will head out to face Drew Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, while North Cobb Christian will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
