It was a good run, but Oak Grove unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Monday. They lost 15-8 to the Northside Rams. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Tigers, who until this contest were averaging 2.7 runs allowed.

Brawley Burns was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Olen Bryant, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Oak Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 24-3. As for Northside, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-8-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Oak Grove nor Northside have any future games scheduled.
