Easton McFarland gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in April on Saturday. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, McFarland and South Bend Saint Joseph will face off against South Bend Riley at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Huskies are a perfect 10-0 against the Wildcats going back to May of 2015, a lead they'll look to extend.
