Matt Sheehan made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. Sheehan was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.
In other batting news, Ross Egan was a standout: he went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Aziel Flores was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI.
