The Guardians posted their closest win since February 26th on Tuesday. They skirted past the John Paul II Centurions 7-6. The victory continues a trend for the Guardians in their matchups with the Centurions: they've now won four in a row.

AJ Vazquez was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played. Jacob Wisneski was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

The Guardians' win bumped their record up to 19-7. As for the Centurions, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-5-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. The Guardians will face off against rival the Angels at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, the Centurions are set to take on their familiar foe the Knights at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
