After two weeks on the road, Gervais is heading back home. On Friday they take on Kennedy at 7:00 PM. Gervais are limping into the game on a five-game losing streak.
Gervais took a serious blow against Colton last Friday, falling 0-61. Gervais were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-52.
Meanwhile, after a disappointing 7 points in their last matchup, Kennedy made sure to put some points up on the board against Grant Union. Kennedy steamrollered Grant Union 37-0. Followers of Kennedy probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected three blowout victories.
Kennedy's win lifted them to 3-2 while Gervais's loss dropped them down to 0-5. We'll find out if Kennedy can add another positive mark to their record or if Gervais can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Kennedy's step.
