St. Agnes is a perfect 6-0 against Nova Classical Academy since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Aggies will host the Knights at 4:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
St. Agnes took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They skirted past Blake 3-2. The Aggies haven't had any issues with the Bears recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.
Josh Lopez spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on five hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

Nova Classical Academy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for St. Agnes, their win bumped their record up to 10-7.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. St. Agnes has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 5.2 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Nova Classical Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.5 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
St. Agnes skirted past Nova Classical Academy 4-3 when the teams last played last Tuesday. Will the Aggies repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
