Wilson is 9-1 against Daniel Boone since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Bulldogs will challenge the Blazers at 4:15 p.m. Daniel Boone took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Wilson, who comes in off a win.
Wilson proved they can win big on Friday (they won by seven) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 win over Emmaus. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bulldogs have posted since April 17, 2024.
Jack Gabel was a major factor no matter where he played. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 3-for-6. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2024.

In other batting news, Ryan Marmolejos was excellent, scoring two runs while going 4-for-6. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Christo Hunsicker was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-6.
Wilson kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Emmaus only managed nine hits.
Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Daniel Boone's offense. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Boyertown on Friday. The match marked the first time this season in which the Blazers were not able to get on the board.
Daniel Boone saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Kriebel, who went 1-for-2 with one double. That double marked the first that Kriebel hit this season.
Wilson pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Daniel Boone, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.
Everything went Wilson's way against Daniel Boone in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Wilson made off with a 10-0 win. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Blazers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
