AA River Ridge recap Nov. 7, 2012
Salem extended the longest winning streak in AA River Ridge this week by beating Pulaski County, 28-14. The victory was the 11th in a row for the Spartans.
Christiansburg took down Blacksburg 28-3 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Hidden Valley's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Titans feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Nic Ratliff has thrown for 844 yards and four touchdowns this season, while Jake Kite has 24 catches for 324 yards. Walker Brand leads the league in rushing with 1011 yards.
The Blue Demons made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 3,669 from 4,053. The improvement came about via a 28-3 victory over the Bruins last week.
