Hunters Lane was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss. They fell 84-74 to the Cane Ridge Ravens. One positive for the Warriors, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Cane Ridge got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Avyion McCleton out in front who posted 16 points along with six steals and five rebounds. McCleton has become a key player for Cane Ridge: the team is 11-4 when he posts at least three steals, but 2-4 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaiden Pugh, who went 5-for-8 en route to 16 points and seven boards.

Hunters Lane's defeat dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Cane Ridge, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-8.

While Hunters Lane had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
