Tuttle is 3-0 against Clinton since December of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Tuttle Tigers will be playing at home against the Clinton Red Tornadoes at 6:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Tuttle has four straight wins, Clinton has 34 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Tuttle can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent game on Tuesday. They blew past Ada, posting a 64-27 win at home. Given Tuttle's advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 28th, while Ada is ranked 204th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Allie Rehl was her usual excellent self, scoring 31 points along with five assists and five rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Tuttle's points. Another player making a difference was Marissa Sandlin, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds.
Meanwhile, Clinton was beaten by Woodward 61-22 on Monday.
Tuttle's victory was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-6. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.8 points per game. As for Clinton, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-20.
Tuttle came out on top in a nail-biter against Clinton in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, sneaking past 2-0. Does Tuttle have another victory up their sleeve, or will Clinton turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
