Diman RVT scaled the state rankings by moving to 187 from 219 this week, the biggest jump in Mayflower - Large. The Bengals were able to move up by topping Bristol-Plymouth RVT 14-13.
Southeastern RVT was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from fifth to third in the league. The Hawks beat Tri-County RVT 28-6 earlier in the week.
The Craftsmen's dynamic duo of Colin McGrath and Ben Strolsky proved to be unstoppable against Diman RVT, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. McGrath threw for 33 yards and Strolsky had 24 yards receiving.
Thanks to the talents of Richie Alger and Richard Carlton, Southeastern RVT has been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Alger leads the league in passing with 162 yards, while Carlton has rushed for 236 yards this season. Bristol-Plymouth RVT's Cam Dennis leads the league in receiving yards with 137 on 5 catches.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Diman RVT takes on second place Blue Hills RVT.
Fans will be treated to a premier battle in the secondary when John Parris' team's Dennis goes up against Daniel Tripp's team's Nick Drago.
There should be lots of points scored when the Craftsmen and the Hawks face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, Bristol-Plymouth RVT comes in having scored 74 this season, while Southeastern RVT has scored 52. The Craftsmen scored 13 points last week as they fell to Kevin Allan's team.
Blue Hills RVT led Mayflower - Large in scoring this week by notching 36 points on Bishop Connolly/Westport.
