They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 65-28 win over Triboro Christian Academy. Considering Columbia County Christian has won six matches by more than 23 points this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Columbia County Christian was led to victory by Clay Farley and Pierce Cughan. Farley scored nine points along with six rebounds and three steals, while Cughan scored 12 points along with four steals. Hunter Fritz was another key contributor, scoring four points.
Columbia County Christian's win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.4 points per game. As for Triboro Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Columbia County Christian won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Walnut Street Christian at 7:30 p.m. on December 19th. Triboro Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Central Baptist Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on January 9, 2024.
