DeWitt had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came within a single  set of losing the streak, but they secured  a   2-1 W against the Coopersville Broncos.
 DeWitt had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-18,  25-17.
 Jenna Hitchcock paced DeWitt's offense, picking up 13 kills. Hitchcock got some help from  Delainey Buchanen and her 27 assists.
DeWitt's win bumped their record up to 19-12-1. As for Coopersville, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-19-1 record  this season.
 Coincidentally, DeWitt and Coopersville will both be playing Calvin Christian the next time they take the court. The Panthers will head out to face the Squires at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday, while the Broncos will  host them  at 7:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
