The Woodridge Bulldogs will face off against the Rittman Indians at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Woodridge has given up an average of 9.6 runs per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Woodridge fell victim to Manchester and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 13-0 to the Panthers. The Bulldogs just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Woodridge saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Julia Elkins, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. Elkins is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.
Meanwhile, Rittman can bid farewell to their ten-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They put the hurt on Aquinas with a sharp 19-2 victory. The Indians' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Lillian Halliwell and Cailin Tyree were major factors while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Halliwell struck out ten batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits (and only one walk). Meanwhile, Tyree pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Those ten strikeouts gave Halliwell a new career-high. At the plate, Halliwell went 2-for-3 with one triple and two RBI, while Tyree went 2-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. That triple marked the first that Halliwell has hit this season.
In other batting news, Giada Joseph was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and five RBI. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Grace Hovest, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.
Rittman always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Aquinas only posted an OBP of .222.
Rittman's win bumped their record up to 3-15. As for Woodridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-18.
