Softball Recap: Maple Mountain Wins Going Away Against Manti

Maple Mountain won the last time they faced Manti and things went their way on Saturday too. The Golden Eagles blew past the Templars 11-5. The result was nothing new for the Golden Eagles, who have now won ten matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Izzie Groneman was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylee Robinson, who went 2-for-4 with two triples, five RBI, and one run.

Maple Mountain's victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Manti, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-13.

Maple Mountain has already played their next contest, a 21-1 win against Enterprise on the 12th. As for Manti, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 17-2 loss against Salem Hills on the 12th.
