Wells took care of business in their home opener. They were fully in charge on Thursday, breezing past Round Mountain 54-8. That result is just more of the same for Wells, who also won the last time these teams played.
Wells's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 48 points in the first half. Round Mountain came up with 8 to make it 48-8 heading into the break. The other side of the ball continued to do well for Wells in the second half and held Round Mountain to 0 points. The win got Wells out to a 1-0 start for the season. The loss dropped Round Mountain's record to 0-2.
Next week, Wells take on Tonopah at 7:00 PM. As for Round Mountain, they will face off against Indian Springs.
