In what's become a running theme this season, American Christian School gave their fans yet another huge win on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Trinity Christian 90-62 on the road. The victory was nothing new for American Christian School as they're now sitting on three straight.
Caleb Ritchwood was his usual excellent self, scoring 37 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Japhet Santiago, who scored 17 points.
Trinity Christian's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was David Tweedie, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Tweedie has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times he's played. Judah Rogers was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Even though they lost, Trinity Christian were working as a unit and finished the game with 22 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
American Christian School has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. As for Trinity Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-6.
