The Clarksville Academy Cougars lost against the Nashville Christian Eagles on January 4th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Friday. Clarksville Academy took a  55-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Nashville Christian. Clarksville Academy has not had much luck with Nashville Christian recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
 When it comes to explaining why Clarksville Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is  Malaya Woullard. Despite the final result, she  scored 24 points along with two  steals. That was a full 55.8% of Clarksville Academy's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's  earned more than a third of the team's points.  Fatu Crain was another key contributor,  scoring seven points.
 Clarksville Academy now  has a losing record at 10-11. As for Nashville Christian, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 11 of their last 12 matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.
 Clarksville Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Davidson Academy at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Nashville Christian, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Goodpasture Christian at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Goodpasture Christian comes in on seven and Nashville Christian on three.
