Morgan Peggs posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Wednesday. He struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Considering he played a big game the last time he faced off against Out-of-Door Academy back in March of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. Peggs has become a key player for Riverview Sarasota: the team is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 1-5 otherwise.
