The Gentry Rams came into Friday's match having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They took down Greenville 54-37 on Friday. The win was just what Gentry needed coming off of a 70-30 loss in their prior contest.
Despite the loss, Greenville saw an underclassman step up: D?ior Williams scored 14 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Williams has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Marcus Peoples, who scored five points.
Gentry's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-17. As for Greenville, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost 13 of their last 14 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season.
Gentry does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Greenville also has no future games currently scheduled.
