The Whitehorse Raiders were the 60-57 winner over the Cuba Rams when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Whitehorse took a 53-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of Cuba on Thursday.
Despite the loss, Whitehorse still got an impressive performance from Lyric Phillips, who scored 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Adam Joe, who scored 6 points.
Whitehorse's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Cuba, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Whitehorse will take on Monument Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cuba, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Taos at 7:00 p.m. on December 8th.
