Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Legacy walked away with it. They walked away with a 74-61 victory over the Palo Verde Panthers on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Longhorns sure are getting used to it with their 13th in a row.

Legacy pushed their record up to 22-5 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 83.3 points over those games. As for Palo Verde, their loss dropped their record down to 13-8.

Looking ahead, Legacy will square off against Sierra Vista at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Sierra Vista's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 17 games. Palo Verde does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
