The Crescent Loggers entered their tilt with the Clallam Bay Bruins with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Crescent came out on top against Clallam Bay by a score of 37-27 on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Crescent also won the last time the pair played last Tuesday.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Crescent to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lukas Love, who scored nine points along with 22 rebounds and three blocks. Love has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 13 times he's played. Mikah Love was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Crescent's victory bumped their record up to 16-2. As for Clallam Bay, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-6 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crescent will take on Neah Bay at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Neah Bay knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past nine matches -- so hopefully Crescent likes a good challenge. As for Clallam Bay, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Northwest Christian at 4:30 p.m. on January 27th. The pair have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.
