After a string of three wins, the Redeemer Christian Lions's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They received a tough blow as they fell 47-32 to Cambridge Christian. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Redeemer Christian has scored all season.
Despite the defeat, Redeemer Christian had strong showings from Cami Satterfield, who scored nine points along with five steals and two blocks, and Ellie Ginn, who scored five points along with five rebounds and five steals.
Redeemer Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Cambridge Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Redeemer Christian will square off against St. John Lutheran at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. John Lutheran will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. As for Cambridge Christian, they will head out on the road to square off against Canterbury at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Canterbury focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Friday.
