They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Bloomfield Bombers 52-49. That's more bragging rights for the Reds, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Newark's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Bloomfield, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-2.
