Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Jayden Corley, who scored 13 points along with five assists and two steals. Another player making a difference was Jacob Andracki, who scored 13 points.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Masterman beat Nueva Esperanza 54-49 on Thursday. That five points margin sets a new team best for Masterman this season.
Yuji Harrington continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 33 points. That makes it ten consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Masterman's points. Charlie Adams was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Franklin Towne's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Masterman, their win bumped their record up to 2-8.
Franklin Towne came up short against Masterman when the teams last played back in December of 2021, falling 57-44. Can Franklin Towne avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
