The Napa Grizzlies will square off against the Justin-Siena Braves at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Napa made up a huge gap compared to their last game against American Canyon, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Grizzlies fell just short of the Wolves by a score of 8-6 on Thursday. The Grizzlies haven't had much luck with the Wolves recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Mason Bartlett made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and one run. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Cillian Shannon, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Justin-Siena waltzed into their match on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Crushers a 6-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Braves, who have now won nine contests by six runs or more so far this season.
The result came thanks to Spencer Nelson's shutout, as he gave up just six hits.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Tommy Malloy, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Drew Sangiacomo, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.
Justin-Siena pushed their record up to 14-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Napa, their loss dropped their record down to 6-14.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Napa has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 6.7 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Justin-Siena struggles in that department as they've been averaging 9.2 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Napa came out on top in a nail-biter against Justin-Siena in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, sneaking past 5-3. Do the Grizzlies have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Braves turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
