The Ben Lippen Falcons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They fell 72-61 to Heathwood Hall Episcopal. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Nic Nichols had an outrageously good game for Heathwood Hall Episcopal as he dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. Nichols also posted eight assists for the first time this season. Another player making a difference was Kamauri Hunter, who scored ten points along with seven assists and two steals.
Ben Lippen dropped their record down to 11-9 with that loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Heathwood Hall Episcopal, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-14.
Ben Lippen will face off against the Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Cardinal Newman focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Tuesday. As for Heathwood Hall Episcopal, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lions at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
