A District 15 recap Oct. 16, 2012
Trinity Christian Academy moved up to 183 from 231 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in A District 15. The Lions were able to make the jump by topping Riverside 49-21.
Adamsville extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Middleton, 63-19. The win marks eighth in a row for the the Cardinals.
Adamsville's dynamic duo of Dalton Plunk and Ross Burcham proved tough for the Tigers to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Plunk threw for 74 yards and two touchdowns and Burcham had 47 yards receiving. Hayden Reece helped Adamsville's passing attack out by catching one ball for 27 yards.
Luke Ward was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 162 yards on 27 carries as the Panthers topped Middleton. Beau Dickson also contributed to the rushing game with 65 yards on the ground.
Trinity Christian Academy made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 6,754 from 8,683. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 49-21 victory over Riverside last week.
