After a string of three wins, the International Academy Phoenix's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They took a 65-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bendle. International Academy has struggled against Bendle recently, as their game on Monday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
It was another big night for Malik Neal, who scored 26 points along with six rebounds and two steals for Bendle. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Neal has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Malis Firman, who scored nine points along with seven assists and four steals.
International Academy's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-3. As for Bendle, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4.
