Brewbaker Tech has gone 9-1 against Stanhope Elmore recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Brewbaker Tech is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight games on Saturday. They lost 15-5 to North Bay Haven Academy.
Kyra Wallace made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Reese Woody also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Stanhope Elmore ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They came out on top against Alabama Christian Academy by a score of 13-10.
Jacaiya Perry made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over eight innings while giving up five earned (and five unearned) runs off 11 hits. Those eight strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-5 with three runs.
In other batting news, MacKenzie Burgin was incredible, going 4-for-5 with five RBI, two runs, and one double. Another player making a difference was Hayden Bush, who went 2-for-5 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.
Stanhope Elmore was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .419. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .320 or higher in four consecutive games.
Stanhope Elmore's win bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Brewbaker Tech, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
Brewbaker Tech got the 'W' when the teams last played back in April of 2025 against Stanhope Elmore by a conclusive 12-2 score. Do the Rams have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mustangs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
