If Nixon wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Sharyland, they should've done a better job of containing Pamela Pena. The Rattlers walked away with a 2-0 win over the Mustangs on Saturday for which the team can thank Pena, who had 11 kills. She is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had seven or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Sharyland has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Nixon, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.

Sharyland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Rockport-Fulton on the 23rd. As for Nixon, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Roma on the 26th.
