Shore Regional is 0-3 against Howell since December of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Tuesday. The Shore Regional Blue Devils will head out on the road to  take on  the Howell Rebels at 5:30  p.m. Howell took a loss in their last  contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Shore Regional, who comes in off a win.
 On Saturday, Shore Regional earned a  55-47 win over Central Regional.
 Shore Regional got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Conley Smolokoff out in front who  dropped  a double-double on 19 points and 13  rebounds. Another player making a difference was  Ava Coyle, who  scored 15 points along with seven  steals and six  rebounds.
 Meanwhile, Howell suffered a  rough 58-32 defeat at the hands of Trinity Hall  on Thursday. While losing is never fun, Howell can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings  (they are ranked 100th, while Trinity Hall is ranked 15th).
 Shore Regional has  been performing  well recently as they've  won six of their last eight contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record  this season. As for Howell, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 14-8.
 Shore Regional couldn't quite finish off Howell in their previous matchup  back in December of 2019 and fell  59-57. Can Shore Regional avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
