Interboro extended the longest winning streak in Delaware Valley this week by beating Chichester, 34-12. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Buccaneers.
Academy Park's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Tyler Street threw for 68 and two touchdowns and Earl Hargrove had 28 yards receiving. On the ground Jerry Lanier chipped in 142 yards. Jeff Devaughn helped Academy Park's passing attack out by catching one ball for 20 yards.
Academy Park's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Knights feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Street has thrown for 755 yards and 10 touchdowns this season, while Hargrove has 19 catches for 369 yards. Lanier leads the league in rushing with 873 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Knights take on the Eagles. As it stands, Academy Park is in second, while Chichester is in fourth.
Ryan Smith's team made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 8,198 from 8,446. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 34-12 victory over the Eagles last week.
