The Alamance Christian Warriors are on the road again and play against the Surry HomeSchool Runnin' Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on December 19th. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Alamance Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 20 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Cramerton Christian Academy 81-49 on the road. Alamance Christian's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Meanwhile, Surry HomeSchool had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They really took it to Millennium for the full four quarters, racking up a 71-34 win at home.
It was another big night for Tyler Spence, who dropped a double-double on 29 points and 22 rebounds. The game was his seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Zavior Dulaney, who scored 13 points along with nine rebounds.
Alamance Christian's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Surry HomeSchool, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-10.
Everything came up roses for Alamance Christian against Surry HomeSchool in their previous meeting back in January as the team secured a 81-38 win. With Alamance Christian ahead 48-24 at the half, the game was all but over already.
