Softball Recap: Union Local Has No Trouble Against Paden City

Union Local had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 15-run drubbing they dealt Paden City on Wednesday. The Jets blew past the Wildcats 18-3. The Jets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by six runs or more this season.

Union Local has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Paden City, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-12-1.

Coming up, Union Local will challenge Monroe Central at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Jets are facing the Seminoles at the right time seeing as the Seminoles are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Paden City, they will welcome Wirt County at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
