Keelon Russell and Co. Win 17th in a Row
Keelon Russell's big game helped extend Duncanville's winning streak to 17 on Friday. Nobody could stop Russell as he threw for 252 yards and five touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes, and also rushed for 53 yards and a touchdown. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in September of 2023.
This season, Russell has thrown 45 touchdowns while averaging 307.9 passing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after ten games last season, he had 23 passing touchdowns.

DeSoto picked up their fifth consecutive win on Thursday thanks in part to Kelden Ryan. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last four games he's played.
DeSoto's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-2. Ryan and DeSoto will square off against Wylie East at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Waxahachie picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Jerry Meyer Iii. Nobody could stop Meyer Iii as he threw for 253 yards and four touchdowns. He has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last three times he's played.
On the year, Meyer Iii has thrown 27 touchdowns while averaging 270.5 passing yards per game.

Deondrae Riden Jr. Goes Supernova in Desoto Win
Deondrae Riden Jr.'s big game helped extend DeSoto's winning streak to five on Thursday. Riden Jr. was unstoppable, rushing for 114 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 114 rushing yards.
If the past is any indication, Riden Jr. could be in store for another big game when he takes on Wylie East on Friday. Back in November of 2023 (the last time Riden Jr. saw the Raiders), he rushed for 153 yards and a touchdown.

Kohen Brown posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He picked up 51 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. He is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games.
For the season, Brown has caught 10 touchdowns while averaging 82.8 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 10.55 receiving yards per game.
