The Ocosta Wildcats scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They blew past North Beach 62-30 at home. That 32 points margin sets a new team best for Ocosta this season.
Ocosta found their leader in underclassman Anna Davis, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and 21 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Davis has scored at least a third of Ocosta's points. Another player making a difference was Alexia Bradley, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds.
The victory makes it two in a row for Ocosta and bumps their season record up to 6-7. As for North Beach, they bumped their record down to 1-8 with that loss, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.
Ocosta will take on Pe Ell at 2:45 p.m. on Saturday. As for North Beach, they will be playing at home against Chief Leschi at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Chief Leschi is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
