Highlands Christian found out winning isn't easy when you don't work as a unit and post 11 fewer assists than your opponent.
Despite the loss, Highlands Christian still got an impressive performance from Adrian Suero, who scored 30 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Suero has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Samuel Service, who scored 13 points along with two steals.
Tal Kessous continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Donna Klein Jewish Academy, dropping a double-double on 23 points and 17 rebounds. That's the first time this season that Kessous pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Joshua Matheson, who scored 13 points.
Highlands Christian's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Donna Klein Jewish Academy, their win bumped their record up to 6-9.
