It was a good run, but Westby unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 3-0 to the Seneca Indians. The match marked the first time this year in which the Norsemen were not able to get on the board.

Westby's defeat dropped their record down to 19-5. As for Seneca, the win was the 17th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westby will face off against Viroqua at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Seneca, they will head out to square off against Weston at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Indians 1.6, the Silver Eagles 3.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.
