The Stebbins Indians will head out on the road to face off against the Troy Trojans at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Stebbins scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Greenville 63-38. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Stebbins has managed all season.
Meanwhile, Troy was able to grind out a solid win over Xenia on Tuesday, taking the game 56-45.
Stebbins' victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-3. As for Troy, they pushed their record up to 3-3 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Things could have been worse for Stebbins, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 60-46 loss to Troy in their previous matchup back in February. Can Stebbins avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
