The Swink Lions lost against the Crowley County Chargers back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Swink received a tough blow as they fell 51-37 to Crowley County.
Despite the loss, Swink still got an impressive performance from Nate Cabrera, who scored 21 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Hunter Bauserman, who scored seven points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Swink bumped their record down to 5-5 with that loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Crowley County, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Swink won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Cheyenne Wells at 2:00 p.m. on January 13th. Cheyenne Wells will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak. Crowley County on the road again on Tuesday and play against Las Animas at 7:00 p.m. on January 16th.
