She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.
In other batting news, Lauren Hayden was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.
Holy Redeemer's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-3. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Hanover Area, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.
Tuesday's match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Hanover Area hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .412. However, it's not like Holy Redeemer struggles in that department as they've averaged .371. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
