Bishop Ludden was not able to break out of their rough patch on Sunday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 14-11 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bishop Grimes Cobras. On the bright side, the 11- run effort marked the Gaelic Knights' highest-scoring game to date.

Bishop Ludden's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Bishop Grimes, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.

Looking ahead, Bishop Ludden will venture away from home to square off against Port Byron at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Gaelic Knights surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bishop Grimes, they will challenge Weedsport at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
